Foxy’s Funk

Foxy Nora is a DJ, producer, and scent storyteller whose work bridges sound, memory, and ritual. Shaped by the energy of her musical upbringing, her sets are both archival and forward-thinking – a rhythmic offering that invites people to feel deeply and move freely.

As the founder of Foxy’s Funk, she’s built something rare – a movement with minimal marketing, grounded in real life interaction, trust, and presence. From selling incense behind the booth at gigs to curating in-person vinyl offerings you can only find if you’re there, Foxy’s community was built with her feet on the ground – one moment, one conversation, one shared experience at a time.

The brand has grown from humble roots into a cultural force – featured in Essence, stocked at Nordstrom flagships, and currently carried by five rock solid wholesalers – each rooted in their own kind of magic.

If you’ve ever caught a whiff of something soulful at a party and turned to find incense burning, chances are Foxy was on the decks.

At the heart of everything, Foxy is a steward to the youth. Her work is always in service of building bridges across generations and mediums. Most recently, she designed a summer camp program called “Do the knowledge” that centers hip-hop as a tool for storytelling, self-expression, and cultural grounding. As a teaching artist, she continues to show up and create space for joy, reflection, and intergenerational connection.

Some notes fill the room, others fill the soul. Foxy works with both. She builds worlds that prove over and over that the most powerful stories live within our senses and the most lasting connections are made by hand with hella love + intention.
